Deadlocking latchbolt by lever or turnpiece, except when lever is locked by key. When lever is locked, latchbolt is operated by key in lever or by turnpiece. (Lever handle is freewheeling in locked position.) Lever on outside; turnpiece on inside. Turnpiece always free.
