Dynalock Electromagnetic Lock Series Guide

Dynalock makes a full range of electromagnetic locks for commercial access control applications. Each series targets a specific application requirement.

2000 Series: 600 lb single door indoor standard. The default for most interior single-door access control openings.

2268 Series: 1,200 lb single door for higher-security interior and exterior applications.

2280 Series: 1,200 lb double door configuration.

2500 Series: 600 lb with internal status monitoring relay. Reports door open/closed status without a separate door position switch useful when the access control panel needs to distinguish a lock release that opens the door versus one that doesn't.

2585 Series: 1,200 lb with the same status monitoring relay as the 2500.

3000 Series: 1,500 lb for exterior and high-security government applications.

3101 Series: 1,500 lb double door.

Dynalock vs. Securitron: When to Choose Dynalock

Securitron has the broader national parts and support network. Dynalock is the specification when the project budget is constrained, when Dynalock is the campus standard, or when the status monitoring relay function (available on 2500 and 2585 Series) eliminates the need for a separate door position switch.
