Shipping and return

Shipment of product is as advertised in our catalog section, Upon receipt of merchandise inspect product carefully, should you find that the product does not meet your expectations, or satisfaction, contact us at once at returns@americanlocksets.com and tell us your concerns, so we may make every effort to satisfy your purchase.

In the unlikely event that we cannot amicably resolve your issues

We will accept stock items returned within 30 days in saleable condition, subject to a 15% restocking charge - (Cal royal & PDQ will be a 25 % fee) - and less shipping charges. Non-stock items, or items held more than 30 days cannot be returned unless defective. We will accept defective returns within the manufacturers warrantee period. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges related to defective returns.

To "exchange" items follow the instructions below:

E-Mail us at returns@americanlocksets.com for a return authorization number, and in it describe briefly the reasons for your requested return. You must receive a (RMA#) before you return any goods to us, the RMA# must appear on your return packing label and on the outside of the box, Merchandise without a (RMA) will be refused, and no credit will be issued. RMAs are valid for (10) days from date of issuance.

All returned/exchanged merchandise must be in original factory condition and must include, all accessories, packing material, inserts and manuals, warranty cards (not filled-out) the box in which it was shipped in. Shipments of returns must be prepaid, and we will not accept COD returns.

Most orders received before 3:00 p.m. EST are processed and shipped via UPS or FedEx within the same business day, following credit card approval. We offer several options for shipping orders, ground, and next day air, as well as second day, and shipping charges will be indicated on your order form.

For a faster Shipping Method please contact us. - For shipping to Non-contiguous USA (AK, HI, PR, APOs) or Canada, please continue with your order. We will contact you with shipping options. We will not charge your card until shipping is confirmed and authorized by you. To use your UPS or FedEx account (Canada, AK, HI, or PR only), please write Acc # in the Comments Box.

Whenever we offer free shipping, product will be sent by UPS ground, unless requested otherwise and charges will be added to the shipment.
