The Alarm Lock Trilogy ETDL27 S1G is a standalone electronic pushbutton exit trim that adds keypad access control to any compatible panic exit device without running wire to the door. The ETDL27 is the T2 Series version of the Trilogy exit trim, with 2,000 user codes, 500 timed lock/unlock schedules, and a 40,000-event time-and-date-stamped audit trail. Generic rim cylinder and adapter kit are included. The S1G designation identifies the straight handle lever design. Exit devices and panic bars must be ordered separately.

Trilogy ETDL27 Exit Trim: Keypad Control for Panic Bar Door

The ETDL27 mounts as exterior trim on an existing panic exit device, adding electronic keypad control to the outside lever while keeping the interior panic bar always active for instant egress. The clutch mechanism inside the trim permits the lever to turn without retracting the latch when the lock is in secured mode. When a valid user code is entered on the 12-button metal keypad, the clutch engages and allows the lever to retract the latch for entry. The key override rim cylinder provides a mechanical bypass when power fails or the keypad is unavailable. The battery housing mounts to the interior face of the door above or below the panic bar, depending on the exit device manufacturer.

Remote Programming and Audit Trail Access

User codes and schedules are programmable directly at the keypad. For facility-wide access control, the ETDL27 connects to any PC running Alarm Lock DL-Windows software via the AL-PCI Interface Cable (sold separately), allowing centralized user management, schedule uploads, and audit trail downloads. The Alarm Lock AL-IR1 handheld infrared printer allows on-site audit trail printing directly at the lock without a PC.
