Marks USA MESC600F Lever/Escutcheon Storeroom Exit Device Trim

The Marks USA MESC600F is the storeroom function outside trim for the Marks USA M9900 Series rim exit devices. It mounts on the outside of the door and controls outside entry. The inside of the door has the M9900 panic bar, which always provides free egress. The outside is controlled by this trim, which determines what level of outside access is permitted.

Storeroom function means the outside lever is always locked. It doesn't operate the latch under any circumstance without a key. Every time someone needs to enter from outside, they use a key. There's no push-button, no credential that temporarily unlocks the lever, no hold-open mode. Key entry, every single time. This is the correct trim specification for storage rooms, supply rooms, mechanical rooms, server rooms, and any space where outside access should always require authorization regardless of who's asking. MESC600 Function Comparison: Choosing the Right Trim

The MESC600 Series covers for outside trim functions for the M9900 exit device, all using the same lever and escutcheon profile.

MESC600A is the entry function. The outside lever is normally free for passage. A key can lock the lever when the space needs to be secured. Correct for main entrances and office doors where outside access is normal during business hours but lockable after hours.

MESC600F (this product) is the storeroom function. The outside lever is always locked. Key required for every entry from outside, every time. Correct for storage, mechanical, and secure utility spaces where uncontrolled outside access is never appropriate.

MESC600N is the passage function. The outside lever is always free, no lock function at all. Correct for doors that never need to be locked from outside, like corridor pass-through doors or vestibule entries.

MESC600DT is the dummy trim. It provides the lever and escutcheon appearance without any functional latch mechanism. Used when outside trim appearance is needed on a door that doesn't require outside entry.

Match the trim function to the door's security requirement before ordering. Changing trim function after installation requires ordering a different trim.

Cylinder and Keyway

The MESC600F uses a 1-1/4" mortise cylinder with the standard Marks C keyway KNK designation. The cylinder is included with the trim. The Marks C keyway is the standard keyway for Marks USA hardware, and the trim integrates into existing Marks key programs through standard KA (Keyed Alike) and MK (Master Keyed) keying options.
