Schlage S40D Neptune (NEP) Privacy Lever Set - ANSI F76

Push-button locking. Can be opened fromoutside with small narrow tool. Turninginside lever releases button.

Applications:Interior light to medium duty commercial doors: office tenant, laboratories, passage and entrance doors. Heavy duty residential doors: single and multi-family housing.

Non-handed levers (except Flair design).

Door Range:1 3/8" - 2" (35 mm - 51mm), except S40D: 1 3/8" - 1 7/8" (35 mm - 48 mm).

Backset:Universal backset latches standard, fit either 2 3/8" (60 mm) or 2" (70 mm) backsets. 5" (127 mm) backset latches available.

Deadlatches:1" x 2" (25 mm x 57 mm), square corner faceplate, 7/8" (23 mm) housing," (13 mm) throw. Latches are furnished in brass, bronze or chrome finishes compatible with lock trim.

Strikes:Square corner, 1 1/8" x 2" x 3/32" (29 mm x 57 mm x 2 mm) T strike with 1 1/8" (29 mm) lip, furnished with dust box, #10-001 is standard. Optional lip lengths 1 " though 2" (25 mm - 51 mm)" (6 mm) radius round corner strikes and ANSI 1" x 4 7/8" (32 mm x 124 mm) strikes are also available.

Lock Chassis:Tubular construction. Zinc with steel cover.

Latch Bolt:Brass, chrome plated, 1/2˝ (13 mm) throw, deadlocking.

Exposed Trim:Levers are pressure cast zinc, plated to match finishes indicated. Roses, latch faceplates, and strikes are wrought brass or bronze.
