What Is the Trilogy PDL3000IC

Alarm Lock's Trilogy line is one of the most widely deployed standalone access control lock families in North American commercial security. The PDL3000IC specifically is the prox+keypad+IC core configuration within the Trilogy lineup. Standalone means the lock doesn't require a wired connection to a central access control panel - all user credentials, schedules, and audit logs live in the lock itself, programmed at the keypad or via PC with DL-Windows software. This makes the PDL3000IC ideal for facilities that want card-reader access control without the cost and complexity of running low-voltage wiring to every door. Trilogy model naming is dense, so here's the decode. DL3000 is the keypad-only version with no card reader - users enter a 3 to 6 digit PIN code only. PDL3000 is the keypad + HID prox reader dual-credential version (users can use a card, a code, or both for highest security). PDL3000IC is the PDL3000 with Interchangeable Core cylinder prep for facilities already running Best, Arrow, KSP, Corbin Russwin, Schlage, Sargent, Yale, or Medeco IC keyways. The PDL3000IC is more expensive than the DL3000 because it adds the HID reader and IC core compatibility, but it's the right choice when: your facility already issues HID prox cards for other doors, your building uses an IC core master key system, or you need dual-credential (card + PIN) for high-security openings. Programming and Management Accessories

The PDL3000IC ships with everything needed for keypad-based programming at the lock. For PC-based management across multiple locks, add the Alarm Lock AL-DTMIII Data Transfer Module, which stores program data and audit trails for up to 96 locks at a time and transfers between PC (running DL-Windows software) and the lock. The AL-IR1 hand-held infrared printer (sold separately) prints an audit trail on-site from the lock for compliance reporting.To enroll multiple HID cards at once, the Alarm Lock AL-PRE2 Prox Reader Enroller lets you simply tap each card on the device to store them. Once all cards are added, you can transfer the data directly to the lock. For HID credentials, add HID 1326 ProxCard II Clamshell Cards or HID 1346 Prox Key Fob III.
