Adams Rite EX89-R313M EX Series Rim Exit Device, Regular, 36 In., Monitoring, For Narrow Stile Aluminum Applications.
Function:
When the door closes, the Pullman latchbolt nests inside the strike assembly and the smaller deadlatch rests on the strike assembly activating the deadlatching feature. When the active pushbar is depressed, both the Pullman latchbolt and the smaller deadlatch are retracted, allowing the door to open. Exit device capable of opening under 20 lbs preload. Designed for use on single doors, or with mullion on pairs of doors. Suitable for low, medium and high traffic areas on aluminum, hollow metal and wood applications.

-Monitor:Dual signal switch (Options are field installable or factory installed)Device may be field cut to fit opening width between standard lengths by cutting the back bar and filler plate.
Materias:Active pushbar and back bar made of extruded aluminum. Matching metal angled end caps.
Handing:Device is non-handed.
Door Thickness:
-Suitable for use with all door thickness
-May be used with trim on 1-3/4" thick doors, up to 2-1/4" door thickness
-When cylinders are required, select rim cylinder length based upon door thickness.
Stile Width:Minimum 2" stile. Fits ultra-narrow, narrow, medium and wide stile aluminum doors.
Projection:2-1/2" when fully projected,1-3/4" when dogged.
Dogging:Standard dogging with 3/16" hex key.
Fasteners:Device mounted using standard type F self-tapping screws. Hardware is not visible from back when installed. Adhesive templates for mounting included.
End Caps:Mounting end cap with 1/4"overlap for cut coverage.
Universal Hardware Kit:Hardware kit suitable for aluminum, hollow metal, and wood door applications.
Strike:
-Horizontally adjustable strike assembly body made of cast aluminum with hardened steel roller. Standard strike assembly suitable for centering doors in 4" jamb. Strike plate adjusts 1/4" horizontally.
-Optional wider strike assembly available to cover prep of existing Adams Rite 8800 Rim Exit Device strike plate,available separately.
Cylinders:Select standard 1-5/32" [29.4 mm] diameter rim cylinder such as the 8736 Rim Cylinder. Available separately. Cylinders with MS cams can be readily obtained from most cylinder manufacturers. See CYLINDERS section for cylinder information.
Trim:Compatible with Adams Rite 3080 Series Entry Trim and 3090 Series Entry Trim. See TRIM section for cylinder information.
Noise Reduction:
-Impact bumpers to reduce noise from the initial device activation.
-Return control to dampen the sound and control the device returning to its resting state.
-Horizontal and vertical guides decrease the scraping sound of the active pushbar on the static back bar.
