About this item
The 1-button transmitter covers one activation point. The 2-button 10TD900HH2 covers two. Whether that's an inner vestibule door on one button and an outer entrance door on the second, a main entry on one button and a loading dock gate on the other, or open and close functions assigned to separate buttons on the same operator, the 10TD900HH2 gives a single keyring fob control over two discrete wireless activation channels without carrying two transmitters. It's the same 900 MHz BEA RF900 platform, the same 500-foot line-of-sight range, and the same frequency hopping digital technology as the rest of the BEA 900 MHz family, with an additional button for the access points that require it.
The 10TD900HH2 pairs with the BEA 10RD900 Industrial Receiver Module and is compatible with any automatic door operator, gate, or access control element connected to that receiver. For power supplies, receivers, and compatible access control hardware, browse our full electronic hardware catalog.
Two Buttons, Two Channels: How the 10TD900HH2 Works
Each button on the 10TD900HH2 transmits independently to the BEA 10RD900 receiver. The receiver's relay output responds to whichever button is pressed, allowing two distinct functions to be assigned to one transmitter. The most common application is vestibule control: button 1 activates the exterior door, button 2 activates the interior door. A user approaching the building presses button 1 to open the outside entrance, enters the vestibule, then presses button 2 to open the inner door into the building. One keyring fob, complete vestibule access, no badge reader or push plate required.
The 10TD900HH2 can also control a single operator with two functions: button 1 triggers open, button 2 triggers close or stop. For facilities where operators are set to hold open on transmitter hold and close on release, the second button can serve as a manual close trigger or a secondary activation point for a different entry entirely.

Frequency Hopping: More Reliable Than Fixed-Channel Systems
Standard 900 MHz transmitters operate on a fixed sub-channel. If that sub-channel is occupied by another device, signal reliability drops. The BEA 10TD900HH2 uses frequency hopping, which automatically cycles through available sub-channels to find the cleanest signal path on every transmission. In dense commercial RF environments with multiple wireless systems running simultaneously, frequency hopping delivers more consistent activation compared to fixed-channel 900 MHz and especially compared to fixed-channel 433 MHz systems.
The Full BEA RF900 Family
The 10TD900HH2 is the 2-button version of the BEA 900 MHz handheld transmitter family. The 10TD900HH1 is the 1-button version for single-channel activation. The 10TD900HH3 and 10TD900HH4 add 3 and 4 buttons respectively for facilities controlling multiple openings from one transmitter. NEMA 4 rated industrial versions are available for outdoor or wet environments. All versions use the same 10RD900 receiver and are mutually compatible on a single programmed receiver.
