The 1801 is the standard cylinder for 5300 and 5400 Series knob locks and 540F Series trim. It's the factory cylinder in the knob version of these locksets.
The 1802 is the standard cylinder for 5400LN, 6400LN, and inTouch lever locks, as well as 440F, 540F, and 580F Series trims. For 4700LN and 5300LN lever locks, a separate sleeve (part 14-5305-9078-999) is required when using the 1802.
Before ordering, confirm whether your 5300 or 5400 lockset has a knob or a lever, and which specific model number you have. Ordering the wrong cylinder means the cylinder won't seat correctly in the housing.

If you order a G-series 1801, you must combinate it before it will function.
