Adjustable Delayed ActionClosing,An optional hydraulic feature thatadds a third speed range to theclosing cycle. This feature becomeseffective when the door is openedand released at any point beyond70 Degree. The amount of time delaydepends upon the combinationof the angle of door release andvalve adjustment. The valve can beadjusted with a 1/8" (3mm) hex keyfrom no delay time up to maximumdelay times of:

Pressure Relief Safety Valve:The delayed action hydraulic systemcontains a pressure relief valve. Anytime the door is forced toward theclosed direction while it is in theclosing cycle, the valve will openand permit the door to close. Thisprevents damage to door, frameand closer.

Suggested Applications:Delayed Action closing allowsslow-moving traffic to clear theopening before the door closer'snormal closing cycle begins. Thisfeature can be helpful in healthcare facilities such as hospitals andnursing homes. It provides sufficienttime for persons on crutches or inwheelchairs to pass through a doorwithout concern of it closing. At thesame time, it can accommodatethe facility's staff with movement offood service carts, beds, and otherwheeled traffic.

compliance to UL10C and UBC-72 (1997) for 3-hour assemblies. The product is manufactured in an ISO 9001 facility. These
