Single Cylinder DeadlatchANSI: E2122
Deadlatch retracted by key outside or thumbturn inside. Holdback feature standard.
The B250-Series nightlatch features a 9/16" (14 mm) deadlatch that prevents "shimming" the bolt with a credit card or similar tool. A "hold-back" feature retains the deadlatch in a retracted position when desired. Trim rings are reinforced with hardened steel inserts. Brass or bronze faceplates are self-adjusting for beveled door edges.
Applications:Ideal for pool, apartment, condominium gates, utility panels and utility chasesfor commercial and residential buildings.

Door range:1-3/8to 1-3/4thick (35 mm to 44**mm) standard.
Backset:2 3/8" (60 mm) standard. 2 3/4" (70 mm) available.
Deadlatch:1 1/8" x 2 1/4" (29 mm x 57 mm), 9/16" (14 mm) throw standard.
Strikes:Square corner, 1 1/8x 2 3/4" (29 mm x 70 mm) strike with 1 1/8" (29 mm) lip, furnished with dust box, standard. ANSI 1-1/4x 4-7/8with 1-3/16" (30 mm) lip, drive-in and full lip strikes also available.
Exposed Trim:Wrought brass or bronze, reinforced with steel security insert.
Cylinder & Keys:**5-pin tumbler standard with two keys per lock.
