Case:0.095cold rolled steel, 3 3/8x 4 3/16x 1. Steel is zinc dichromate plated for corrosion protection.

Faceplate:Brass or bronze material, 5 3/8x 1 3/16x 7/32.

Strike:Brass, bronze, or stainless steel base material. 48HS1: Flat strike supplied standard, 3 1/2x 1 1/8x 3/32. Fits standard door frame cut-out as specified in ANSI A115.5.

Backset:2 3/4"

Door Thickness:Standard lock configuration designed for doors 1 3/4thick. Thick door configuration available for doors up to 3thick (specify thickness when ordering). NOTE:Rfunction not available for thick door.

Deadbolt:Stainless steel, 1throw

Trim: 48H: Cylinder and trim ring only.

Standard 1E74 Mortise CylinderDesigned for standard security applications, BEST offers the 45H/48H mortise locksets, utilizing the 1E74 mortise cylinder and special interchangeable core. Special cylinder variations are avail able for most applications. Stanley/Best cylinders are machined from solid brass or bronze bar stock. Additional security is provided by a set screw that mounts diagonally into the cylinder wall. This set screw prevents unauthorized removal of the cylinder with out use of the control key.
