Request to exit (RX):The RX feature is used to signal the use of an opening. This device is equipped with one internal SPDT switch which monitors the push pad. The device can be connected to a security console, or may be used as a single door alarm when used with a horn and power supply. The RX switch option should not be used to control a load, but as a signalling switch (2 amps resisitive maximum). The RX switch is available in a low current (LC) 50ma max. Most commonly used to signal low-current access control inputs.

TheRX2feature uses two RX switches.

Devices are ANSI A156.3 2001 Grade 1.

The EL98 device has a smooth mechanism case and the EL99 device has a grooved case.

Covers stock hollow metal doors with 86 or 161 cutouts on single doors

Latch Bolt:3/4" (19mm) throw latch bolt

Strike:Device is furnished with standard 299 strike in dull black finish

Fasteners:Includes screw pack for 1 3/4" (44mm) and 2 1/4" (57mm) thick metal or wood doors. Optional 425 SNB available
